Hey guys, figured I'd post up the progress of this build.
I'm taking a used Savage XL I got for a smokin deal and converting it to FLM Ext/ Low COG TVP's.

I'll be doing The Judge's Mugen/CEN Mod-Tank Mod.

Step #1: Parts List to Order
This is waht I got so far, am I missing anything or have something I don't need? lol

1x - FLM45100 (TVP's)
1x - FLM45500 (Servo Plate Kit)
1x - FLM45700 (Motor Plate)
1x - FLM46000 (Servo Mounts)
1x - FLM48000 (Drag Link)

1x - FF007 (CEN Receiver and Battery Side Box)
1x - ERNST124 (Ernst Charge Receptacle Futaba J FM)
1x - E0815 (Mugen Fuel Tank 150cc X5T) This is the fuel tank only can someone point me in the right direction for posts and mounting hardware?
 
Almost forgot, Could someone also point me int he right direction for the ofna throttle linkage setup?

I will post the weight of items as well if people would like. New and Old.
 
How did you save that much weight? A mid tank still has all the same stuff, it's just relocated to different areas of the truck. In fact, you add a lot more fuel and a few other small things that weren't there before. The only thing you get rid of is the Rx box but the small items that you usually add should weigh as much or more than the stock box. Seems like the truck should weigh more with all the added fuel.
 
I'm going 150cc to cut down on weight will be ordering all the FLM parts on Monday

Don't ask me but stock weight is like 16 LB ??
Unless my scale is wrong that's what it says ..
 
lol i will get some weights...i cannot do a total wieght of the entire trucks to compare as i already tore the XL down
