Replacing your antenna wire

I have an excellent replacement wire if anyone needs some. It has a very durable orange insulation.

Key things when replacing the wire.
1) Do not heat board with soldering iron for long, you could damage components.
2) Use a desoldering braid to get wire loose at the board.
3) Tin the replacement wire (google this term).
4) Resolder wire quickly using as little solder as possible. Get the real thin electronics solder and desoldering braid at Radio Shack.

It works by a process called capillary action. The same way plants draw water and candle wicks, paper towels work.

That correct, you just put the soldier wick over what you want to desoldier the press down on it with the soldier iron until it is desoldiered. Personally I prefer my soldier sucker :).

also use a fine point tip on ur iron helps a bunch, ive had to re solder these small boards so many times it gets annoying

worse board i had to solder was my amp :
