Replacement for HPI's HS gear that is too wide arrived today

Hi,

I just received a replacement for the gear that is too thick that came in the first shipment of the sets.

I have one more comming but they only had enough to ship me one at this time.

Here's what it looks like

Wow! That's more than just a bit noticeable...

Thats a pretty big difference however there is alot of play in the transmission. Have you tryed to install it as it may just fit and work fine.

the wide one will not fit the way it is, however I was able to git it installed by using a bit different pin combo

in those pic's Instead of using the pin with the threaded end, I used a regular unthreaded pin that I shortened then hold it in place with just a grub screw. I haven't run it but I am sure it will work.

Let us know if their is a big difference in top end. i am interested in this if it makes a difference.
