Ok so....I'm beginning to get in the mail parts I need to fix the Savage SS. I retired it broke and put it on the shelf...about a decade later I get it down so I can run it.
But first a few repairs needed.

2 of the 3 posts on the battery tray are broke off. I got one in the mail today to swap it out.
Do I need to pull the front end off then remove battery box or can I skip and just take out the tray after disconneting the steering servo horn?

After eating and having an adult beverage and studying the layout it appears I can get it out by unscrewing the 4 screws on the side, servo horns, and the two inside at the bottom of the box going into the servo saver.
