First off I like to say hello to everyone! I been gone for awhile been pretty busy with college and stuff. I still have my savy and I'm actually gonna give it some attention now. I may be a little rusty on things so my question(s) is this.
I had my savy for over a year now, but right before winter I was still driving it and a bunch of stuff came up and I packed it away without even setting it up to sit for awhile. (I know.. I know..) So I took the savy back out and it has a half tank of gas in it still and it wasn't on a stand.
I know I should change the gas and prob the fuel lines and I'm gonna have to rebuild my shocks. What other things should I do since it has been sitting for a good 6-7 months? Just give me some ideas while I start tearing it apart!
Thanks everyone!!

1) You can tear the mill down and check the internals and clean every thing up ..
2) Like you said replace gas and yes replace the fuel lines for sure ..
3) Charge up the batteries maybe even buy a new hump pack ??
4) Set needles back to stock settings ..
5) make sure you blue loctite all the metal - metal screws

Tell her your sorry for letting her sit for so long then bash it like theres no tomorrow :spiderman:

all good advice but to add to it when you tear the motor down blow out the carb passages to get all the gummed up fuel out

yep your right on with the old fuel & lines. get that outta there and clean your tank with fresh fuel (a little).

get a new glow plug.

"need" to put the truck on a stand for storage is a myth (imo). ive never used one & the savage rtr's sit on its tires inside a box until someone buys it and its fine.

oh, & 1 more thing....
