would you expect to be able to do a rebuild in the chassis???? to be honest it needs to be removed, cleaned thoroughly , disassembled completely. then install new parts as needed and while it is apart I would be sealing up the before reassembly..

ok Thanks, another question i have another savage that was sealed following ur thread years ago it ran good but i haven't fired it up in years , u wouldnt tear that one down would you. ?

This is going to be determined by the condition of the most when stored tend to kind of seize up a bit as the fuel evaporates away and the left behind oil congeals into a solidified mass.....
most cases it will require a teardown and cleaning , then resealed (always a good idea)
