I went back and looked but haven’t had any luck, I am wanting to get a rear tie-rod eliminator kit or ECT. But I really do NOT want to go Integenty I'm slowly getting everything lined up for my big build just got all of my X plastics in the mail now its on to getting the mid-tank kit stuff now. The only thing I'm concerned about is ordering to much or the wrong things for my mid tank from IRC.

So do you need to know what you need to order from IRC?

I'm not sure on where to find the tie rod eliminator stuff at, I never did get a chance to try those out.

Yes, I want to get the tvp kit with the longer dogbone engine mounts and whatever else it comes with in black and the steering linkage and thats about it, as for the tank and rx box I'm getting that from another supplier cheaper. I have a feeling I'm forgetting things but not sure what.

ike I'm gonna ask why you don't want the integy rear tie rod eliminator hubs they are probably the best product integy makes. i had mine for almost 4 years with no failures. they were starting to show wear around the pins but after 4 years and prob 20 + gallons of fuel id say that was acceptable. as for the irc products I'm no help there as i used flm to make my mid tank builds

I agree Mikey the integy rear hubs are the best integy makes. N I run them on all my trucks ..you'll be pleased with them.. but remember if you get them you'll need adjustable top rear arms to if you want to adjust the camber. But stock arms in the middle hole on the hub. Will be pretty centered.. and for mid tank.. if you go ofna tower hobbies. Has the tanks and stand offs on same page. That'll be all you'll need. Good luck..

Anything I had from integy has always broke on me. but after reading maybe I'll stay with what I have because I have the RPM A-arms plus to I've never really had a problem with the rear ties anyways. As for the mid tank "if you go ofna tower hobbies. Has the tanks and stand offs on same page" not sure what your meaning by that?

Ike, I used to run the Integy's until I got the RSC. The Integys are still in great shape and I gave them to my buddy for his savvy since I didn't need them anymore. And I see your still gonna do the IRC build. Since your goin with their TVP kit and mid-tank kit, the mid-tank kit comes with everything needed except for the tank and battery box, which like you said, can be found else where for cheaper. It also comes with all the linkages too, but I didn't use them cuz mine throttle/brake setup is completely different from stock. Once you get everything and start the build thread, PM and I'll give you some tips along the way through your build.

P.S. The IRC TVP & mid-tank kit are tough. Already had a VW Jetta park on mine and the only thing that broke was the tank.

RSC? Ok I am looking at a few different kits this one not sure what one I need

http://www.innovative-rc.com/black-anodized-1inch-back-front-extended-p-334.html

http://www.innovative-rc.com/black-anodized-extended-bone-p-335.html

Now my questions are still does it come with the rear servo mount tank mounts steering linkage the longer dog bones ECT. I will PM you and for now I have the ofna throttle/brake mod but I know that will change. I just want a COMPLETE kit so I can start the build and get half done and find out I need something from IRC.

You mean out of stock? Is that the one i'll need?

Yes - Ike If it were me I would do the kit with the 6mm front, not the 1inch rear for your build.

Ike, what are your plans for the truck? Racing or just bashing? If you plan on racing, they make race specific kits which are made from thinner Alum. and you would also want to get the 6mm front ext only for racing. It'll give you better turning. I'll post links below with what kits I went with. No mattter which kit you decide to go with, order an extra rear ultra heavy duty dogbone (stock length, 83mm I believe). That way you'll have the dogbone for the front for use with the 1" rear+6mm front ext TVP kit or for the rear for use with the 6mm front ext TVP kit. Both kits that are 6mm ext in the front use the stock length rear center dogbone. The TVP kits only come with what's listed on the site, i.e. both left & right TVPs, motor plate (which already has the cross braces machined in), skid plate with cross braces, hardware that is needed, and which ever dogbone is associated with the kit. No linkage (throttle/brake) comes with either TVP kit nor does it come with servo mounts or tank mounts. Those items all come with the mid-tank kit. The mid-tank kit come with everything needed, i.e. rear servo (throttle/brake) mount plus linkages, tank plate plus cross braces, Rx box and steering servo mount (all one piece which is nice), battery box mount bracket, and fuel tank posts. It also comes with the steering linkage, but I didn't like it (seemed too weak to me) so I made my own out of various parts. When you go to order the mid-tank kit, you get to choose which battery box bracket and fuel tank posts you want with the kit.

Sorry for the length of the kits breakdown but hope it helps you out some. I'll post again with what I ordered.

Here's is what I ordered from IRC for my build, minus the black ano LST shock mount kit.

TVP kit: http://www.innovative-rc.com/black-anodized-1inch-back-front-extended-p-334.html

It comes with both left & right TVPs, the motor plate, skid plate w/cross braces, 1" rear ext dogbone (ultra heavy duty), and all nessesary hardware.

Mid-tank kit: http://www.innovative-rc.com/innovativerc-tank-p-312.html?options={8}21{9}22{10}25

It comes with the rear servo (throttle/brake) mounts, Rx box/steering servo mount, battery box bracket (your choice between rush evo and firestorm, I went with the firestorm cuz I already had the box), rear tank plate brace, front tank plate/steering post brace, tank plate, tank mount posts (your choice between HPI Hellfire, Ofna 250cc, or Mugen 150cc, I went with the Ofna 250cc tank cuz I only bash), steering linkage (I made my own cuz I didn't feel as though theirs was strong enough), and throttle/brake linkages. You'll need the sliders from the Ofna throttle mod, so those will still come in handy. I also had to make a note when ordering the mid-tank kit that I wanted it in black ano cuz at the time I ordered all my stuff, it wasn't listed on the site.

Rear Center Ultra Heavy Duty Dogbone: http://www.innovative-rc.com/ultra-heavy-duty-rear-center-dogbone-83mm-p-250.html

I went ahead and ordered this at the same time to use in the front instead of the stock rear dogbone.

What my shopping cart looked like before completing my order: http://www.innovative-rc.com/shopping_cart.php

Hope this helps a little bit more.

Dang, I'll be bashing 98% of the time. Thanks for all the info of this kit now I have a better mind set on what I need and what the kit comes with. The link for your cart shows its empty, and your link for your build thread the pics have been deleted from photo bucket. As for what one i'm ordering I’ll do the one you have as well. Thanks again for ALL the info and help on this subject. I will also PM you for the linkage set up you have and what kind of set up you got going on for the steering since you said the linkage seems weak.

The pics actually haven't been deleted, just moved. I rearranged and added sub-folders to my photobucket account to make it easier to find pics. They are still there. I'll post links to the albums.

Also keep in touch when you start the build for the steering linkage set-up. I'll check and see if I still got the parts numbers layin around.
