I noticed today that I seemed to have more front wheel drive than the rear. I 1st inspected the grub screw but no problem there.
On closer inspection I noticed the diff seemed to wobble in the housing just a little to much.
I pull it down and noticed a bearing Pt No B032 was broken on the gear side.

Is this a common problem? or am I just brutal on her.

Any tips on what should be done while its all apart to try to ensure this dosen't happen again.

ya by "shimming" the diffs you eliminate the play in the diff which cuts down on wear alot..

I havbe had a couple of these bearings go also. Make sure you clean and inspect the inside of the bulkhead where the diff sits. Depending on the bearing carnage, those little ball bearings get inside the diff case and can cause you more issues if you do not get them out of there.
