Rc4me Big Bore 5mm Shocks!

Was looking at changing up to these rather then the HPI type, but see they suggest 15wt shock oil I have always used 25/30wt in past what’s the reason behind this please?

I was wondering about those shocks also. 15wt seems strange but I think stock savage came with 10 or 15. Also the size and number of holes in the piston has to do with the oil that works. Those shocks have six holes.

Thought the HPI Big Bore both plastic & aluminium had to be filled up with shock oil of your choosing?

Yes. That's the ones I have most experience with. They did have rtr ones at some point though. I worked on some for people. No way these people could of built one. And the shock oil was like water. That's what I experienced.

Just theorizing here because I am interested in those shocks.
