Radio problems

Bought a new flysky radio gt2b after connecting to servos and battery nothing happens even though the trans and rec are connected also batteries are getting hot and servo wires

Something isn't right. Check your Rx and make sure your servos, bec, etc....are all oriented correctly in the Rx. pos to pos neg to neg. Servo wires shouldn't be getting hot under any circumstances.

Almost sounds like the BEC is backwards

Just checked wires there all correct. The 4 duracell in the battery holder are getting very hot too.

Tried the controller and recieved on my other truck and it works ok. Could my servos maybe be not compatible with the flysky .. servos are hpi sf1 and sf2

Servos as far as I know do not have radio compatibility issues.

It says u don't need to bind as it's bound at factory. Rx light flashes until u turn on tx then its a solid light and it works on my crawler servos

I don't know cos didn't get the truck with a controller. I'll try them in my other trucks now

Disregard the binding question. Didn't realize you got the FlySky Tx and Rx. Thought it was just the Tx

Just charging bats on my crawler and my traxxas . Gonna try the servos on them. Rule 1 thing out at a time. Thanks fixer

Yep...Really thinking it is something wonky with those servos if your polarity from the BEC and everything else is right...both of them would be a little weird though.

Got the car off an idiot. So who knows mate. I'll rule out the servos with my other kit then go from there. I'll let u know. Thx again. I appreciate the help. New to nitro but the electrics are not far off the same

Checked radio gear and servos off other trucks and the radio gear works them ok. Both my servos seem dead. Just ordered 2 high torque metal geared savage xl servos. Lol it'll soon be a total new truck can't complain I only paid 50 for it. Just hope engine is ok got a new carb to fit cos the idiot snapped the fuel intake off. Seems he knackered the servos too. So like I said I hope the motor is ok or more money I shall spend
