radio probems

I'm having trouble with my savage. When I'm running my truck it cuts out and the failsafe kicks on. This only happens intermittently its like something interrupts the signal only for a second. This happens no matter where i take it. Anyone have any ideas?

could be your cyrstals, they sometimes go bad but still work intermittently.

but the truck is only a month old. crystal can go bad that quick?

sounds like maybe a loose connection, but it could be anything. really hard to say. I would just go in and check to make sure everything is tight including the crystals.

are you running AA's or rechargable pack. When I had AA's my failsafe would kick in to. Don't think it was getting enough voltage. switched to recharge pack and have not had a problem.

na i have a hump pack. The crystals are tightier then a virgin on prom night.

Do you run AA's or a hump pack? If you run AA's thats the problem they just don't deliver enough juice. I had that problem too.
