Hello. I'm kinda sorry to say, but I want to change sides, from nitro to electric.
Because I live in Romania, I have less options for parts so Tower is my no.1 choice..
So, what are the questions:
1. I have a Futaba FASST 3PM 2.4GHz radio. Do I need to buy an USB programming kit to set up reverse etc or not? Also, the radio knows ABS braking. Is this applicable also for electric or not?
2. If I buy the BL conversion kit and the Flux combo I cannot also afford some LiPo, as I've seen that one is around 80-100 US. So, can you recommend some NiMH that will allow some 30 min of playtime? I would also want NiMH as I currently have a MRC 977 charger and I've read that it's tricky with LiPo. (needs a balancer????)
3.If I try to extend the budget but for only 1 LiPo, AND if the MRC charger can charge LiPo (do I also need a balancer?), what LiPo should I choose from
Tower offer?
I know that these may be noob questions but I appreciate some answers. Thanks!
