I searched around, but could not find an answer to what I am afraid may be a senseless question.
Long story short, I am new to Nitro, just ordered 2 trucks for me and my son, a Savage X and XL, and assorted parts are beginning to roll in. One being the HPI Glow Plug Igniter with battery meter (HPI 74108).
The igniter has a meter which has green area for charged and red area for must recharge. I charged it overnight, but the needle on the meter is still in the red area. I had to leave for work before I could put a DMM on it to verify voltage at the tip. And I don't yet have a glow plug to test it with. I am curious though, does the meter only indicate when the starter is connected to a glow plug or did I get a faulty unit?
