Q about anodizing

Hey all, just here to ask some questions about anodizing.

1. Where can it be sent to get it done, or how could I do it myself?

2. How much would it cost to get it done or do it myself?

3. How durable is DIY anodizing VS. commercial?

4. Is there an anodizing technique if done DIY to get the sheen of aluminum tinted with color (like clear coating with color I suppose)

5. Lastly, who all thinks a green FLM savvy would just kick some A?! lol

I've think about Diy anodizing myself. But talking with some of my neighbors who are big into hotrods suggested powder coating. Powder coating is flexible and comes in tons of colors. Here is an example of some of the colors.

You don't have to buy the equipment, depending on where you live there should be companies that do this and would have lots of colors.
