Pull Start Hard To Pull

I have a pull start on my new motor but its really hard to pull any reasons?

Loosen you glow plug slightly, then when the motor starts, you can tighten it back down.

When mines hard to pull its flooded. Like Chunky said loosen the plug and tighten it after its started. Some times I even have to take the plug completely out and flip my truck over and give it a couple pulls to expel the fuel...reinsert the plug and it pulls with ease. I'm sure you probably already know this but for anybody reading this thread for help on the subject....you don't have to tighten that plug on hard just snug is plenty good.

yeah loosen it but not to loose cuz it will start shooting fuel out of the coooling head and also u can stip out things on the engine

yea it got better for awhile then the pull start broke ooops lol but i bought a new one and its working fine again
