I'm in the market for a dremel rotary tool to take out those damaged screws and some cutting jobs etc. any recommendations for the best bang for the buck and decent price???

I have my Dads old dremel, it hangs by my bench and has the flex shaft attached, always does exactly what I need to do, variable speed is handy for making precise cuts and shapings... been using it for years and I love it.....

I have the dremel 8220 and really like it. If you were going to use it all day, then stick with corded. But for periodic use, the battery holds up great and the power is nearly what the corded version has. Mine came with 2 12V packs. I always keep one on the charger. I've had it for a few years. I did replace the chuck with one that was like a mini drill chuck so I could use smaller and larger bits in it if needed.
