LOVE the build - VERY SLICK! I had a quick ? for you - what are you using for brakes? i was looking at my Hellfire and 8ight center diffs, and it looks like they could also be used in place of your X1 diff, and I could maybe even use the brakes as well if I can shoe-horn a servo in there....

Man, this is awesome - congrats on the build, LOVE the fact you made your own parts - and WELCOME!

Yup, you are right, currently i'm using "electronic" brake, but if possible i prefer mechanical brake. maybe i will try to use the truggy braking system, this will also reduce the heat to motor and ESC.

While waiting for Hobbyking to send the replacement for the warranty claim, my 3S1P 5000mah LiPo "pregnant". Sigh....feed back to Hobby King but no reply from them.

how would you plug it into your receiver if the ecs plugs into you throttle spot?

Use 3 channel Controller, plug into AUX channel and use the MIX function. Mix Throttle and AUX, set the percentage u required. U can refer to TEKNORC website, just like the kit for buggy and truggy.
