Hey guys!
I'm doing a new build. i was looking around the garage at all my extra stuff and decided why not make another truck. i was gonna sell it but you always lose money, then need the parts down the road.
So follow along with me while i build the truck that will get bashed like a ugly step child.

Rules of the build are:
1) cant be pretty
2) cant wash any parts along the way
3) must have first run at gravel pit with video!

It's gonna consist of all the parts i was trying to sell but never sold (hence project reject)

here's some starter pics of the build. all i'm missing is a transmission but i ordered one tonight.

I got a bunch of filler parts for the reject if you need them LMK. I have boxes of these reject parts you talk about.. hmmm wheel starts turning ahhh no hamster fell off again.. to think I almost formed a thought.

gonna surprise yourself when you find you LOVE runnin that truck.

i have a hellfire that i bash with wreckless abandon (got it used, zero upgrades & $$ into it) & have no fear of breaking. its fun!

i am really pumped to run this. with the expensive trucks it almost pains me to see it cart wheeling down the road (almost) so i cant wait to have one that i enjoy breaking. and those TVP's are far from PRC. lol just a few slabs of carbon fiber cut to work.

lol shes recycled alright. ugly truck contest....I'm in. has to be ugliest truck with sickest air time tho!

well project reject is coming along nicely. i got the rear all assembled, shimmed the diffs, and filled them with 50k, front and rear. These diffs should be able to take some nice punishment. i also got the 125cc ofna tank mounted up and the bell crank set up. tomorrow will be front end, and linkages, then the waiting game for the transmission so i can do the throttle linkage and gear mesh. shes coming together nicely, but far to clean. one problem i ran into is the steering bearings i have (8 of them) wont fit. i cant remember where i got them from so i threw in the bushings for now and ordered 8 more from nick. ill get pics up tomorrow fellas, just figured id give a verbal update for now. loving this truck tho so far!

Well I'm as far as i can go for now until the trans shows up. again its nothing fancy, basically just slapped together with what i had laying around, so cool in that sense i guess. heres the pics

what do you guys think? i know its not dirty, but when shes running ill get it there!

great job concidering it was built from spare parts you had laying around, thanks for sharing......

thanks guys, I'm really excited to run this thing. the fact that i don't care what breaks appeals to me. when i go out with the FLM I'm almost cautious and thats no fun. lol. ill definitely get a video man when i go out as promised. should be another week then the transmission will be here.

great work 88.. how much weight on it right now?

not to sure. with those big joes it will have some weight for sure plus the roll bar is hefty. ill check it out and get back to you. And mike you wouldnt beleive the crap i got laying around. its a sickness.

i like it. but now that you got your flux i cant help but wonder if you're gonna lose interest in it

not lose interest just that it may hit the back burner for awhile. i still got get project FLM Bullet Proof out and enjoy that one. ive never had a legitimate full tank of bashing yet theres always some little thing.

Hey guys i got some time to work on the reject tonight. i got it all put together and i took it out for a thrashing. the video i promised was not taken, since the ole lady has the battery charger for the camera in her purse, and shes 3 hours away.
So i took it to my work site where we just finished up and someone left some big piles of dirt mounded up by a skid steer... know who would have done that:thinking: lol.
Me and my buddy had a great time and i went through three tank all around 220 temps. i never had second gear until really late so i got to adjust it, but other then that this reject is AWESOME. i had a blast ripping around. it took a beating. after that we packed it up and were on our way home and drove by a BMX TRACK! we both never knew we even had one here. So we unloaded the trucks again and went round two. It was tons of fun. i had lots of good air, and lots of cart wheels, but nothing broke. Great time.

Everything was great till i got home and saw that the Airfilter was off. Good news is that the BMX track only got one tank and i pu thte body on half way thru. so on the last half of tank is where it fell off along the line. really sucks. i had it zip tied and even tightened it with pliers. i have no idea why it would have popped off. so tomorrow I'm going to tear it apart clean it and inspect it. and reseal it up. Sucks but I'm hoping for the best as it didnt look to bad down the carb. we will soon see i guess. If i didnt have bad luck id have no luck at all. I'm just happy it wasnt my 😛icco:

edit * i just saw that missing screw in the one picture. I guess something did break. Also does someone have an extra air filter they want to sell, I'm kinda short one. lol

Awsome! she looks like she'll take a beating! Only extra air filters I have are the old pancake style filters that originally came with the 21/25 series
