Hey guys. Been waiting to do this for awhile now, tomorrow I should be pressing the buy button on my order. What I am doing:

FLM Extended Low CG TVP's
Full FLM Mid-Tank with Hellfire tank
Custom Mounting of the HPI Rush Radio Box for Battery
RPM Receiver box mounted on the side of the TVP
Custom Throttle mount

THE LIST :jamout:

$56.99 - 45100 FLM LCG Extended TVPs
$10.99 - 45110 FLM Skid Plate
$9.99 - 45700 FLM Motor Plate
$13.99 - 45500 FLM Servo Plate
$5.99 - 46000 FLM Servo Mounts
$12.99 - 87505 HPI Hellfire 150cc Fuel Tank
$8.99 - 80052 RPM Receiver Box
$14.58 - 10724 2x OFNA Blue Linkage ($7.29 each)
$4.99 - 1003B Racer's Edge Blue Aluminum Antenna Mount
$6.29 - A349 HPI Battery Box

Also, I am currently #5 on the list for HPI's new Big Bore shocks for the Savage.

Well, this should be fun. :Xfingers:

Those shocks are on my list also. The RPM box works great with the FLM TVPs. The mounting holes on it are the same spacing as the servo mount holes. So you don't have to mod it to make it fit. Should be a great looking truck.

I don't have the flm chassis, but I have hotbodies Ext tvps, and I also use the rpm box on the side, but i had to drill the holes for it.

sounds great, those new hpi shocks should be nice🙂

Definitely should be, if they are everything that they are getting cracked up to be!

do you plan on taking some pic's along the way?

I have this problem where I can't STOP taking pictures, so yes I'm pretty sure I will haha.

Thanks, I hope it will look great. Do you think that the RPM box will survive through bashing being side mounted like that?

Rpm plastic takes a good beating. I have it on my truck but its a new upgrade so I haven't ran it with that box yet. I just know the box I had wasnt working so well. It would get brittle after it had fuel splashed on it.

I actually am not worried, all RPM parts have that gaurantee so I think I'm in the clear IF it ever breaks.

For those of you who haven't seen my truck yet..

Will do buddy!

I'm going to go with Platinum RC Products CF Chassis as soon as I fix my RL truck, had a throw out bearing come out on me, so thats going to set me back some till i can get the goodies for my Savage. Cant wait to see your pics for your FLM. 😛eace:

Definitely know how bad that sucks when a bearing goes out in one of your 1:1 Diffs, it sucks. Platnum RC Products looks really good, quality stuff. I can't wait to tear down!

Thanks for all the comments guys! It's kicking but again but I'll figure it out.

He's at the hobby store now getting another.:duh:
:slapped: Inside joke- will he tell us all?
Dave

:duh:...... Shall I do it....

Well, I being the brilliant person that I am, decided that to get the RPM box on, I needed to break off one of the ears. Evidently, I was trying to mount it to the wrong holes, and soon after realized the REAL mounting holes. :dunno:

Its all good now! Gotta finish throttle linkage, take the front end off (Forgot to put the dogbone in AGAIN!!!), and get the steering servo horn on.

Ok guys. 2:08am. Savage is finished. I'm tired!!! Pictures and updates in the morning.

I love that FLM chassis. I have been looking at these and the IRCs, and I think I just made up my mind after looking at some close-ups of your
chassis. If I ever do a mid-tank though, I'd like to try a CEN Rx box.

And guess what-I just made some $$$$ working on someone's minivan, so there may be yet another FLM Savage coming to life soon...:evilrocker:

Sorry guys. I've had the flu the past two days, and finally got the courage to get out of bed a minute ago. I will try to hopefully get some pictures today, but I feel like *BEEP*
