I have recently changed my spur gear and after a few runs i have noticed that my savage wont't shift in second gear and the car was less nervous...it didn't wanted to go in 2 wheels for nothing. First i thouth it was the setting and i started messing with the HSN and LSN...but nothing. Could this be because the spur gear is to lose and i have to tight the nut more.

Hope you understand what i'm saying. I am new with the nitro and i am from Romania so my english is not very good

Did you replace the spur with the same size or did you go up or down in size?

I have replaced with the standard 47T plastic one. And i have played a little with the distance between the bell and the spur. I have played with 2 full tanks after the change. At first it changed but after a while it stoped shifting. Could it be due to the fact i have messed with the settings of the HSN and LSN?

Definite a tune issue. The truck shift on RPM, so you have to tune the engine, especially if the weather has changed. Try working at at factory settings. Turn your LSN until your launches are good and you do not have high revs after WOT, then work your HSN until you have a good smoke trail throughout the bandwidth. This maybe a different way of tuning but it worked for me.

Forgot yes tighten you spur gear all the way down then back out an 1/8th

I have tighten the nut, i have retuned the HSN and LSN and now everything is solid. I have done some wheelies and turned over the car...so everything is ok. Thanks guys
