Please Help tigerdrive

Please help I was installing a tigerstarter pulled the plate off and there was a small pin that fell out,also which side of the groove on the piston be facing?
I looked at exploded views and did'nt find that pin.Anyone have a link better than HPI,or instructions on engine rebuild.yhe pin looks like 2mmX4mm long.
AM I screwed? have not assembled any thing yet the head is still on the pin came from some where behind the pull start. HELP!!!
