Play between Ring and PinionI

I've noticed while I had the front and rear ends out yesterday that there is quite a bit of play between the ring gear and the pinion. With both wheels on the ground there's probably 1/8 to 1/4 inch turn of the pinion before you feel resistance of the wheels.

Normal? Something I need to fix?

It has the orginal R&P...it doesn't have the Flux BP ring and pinion.
