Well I finally am getting around to posting pictures of how I did the OFNA 250cc Mid tank kit. It is fairly simple. All the parts to mount to the chassis ( FLM or Any PRC Chassis) are included along with the parts to attach the Steering servo in the correct location other than flipping it upside down and attaching the tank. The tank is not included in this. You will have to attach the hump and Receiver your own way.

I decided to zip tie the Hump to the rear shock tower and added a RPM RC10GT (80052) to the side which bolts nicely to the PRC and FLM Chassis's. You will see this below in the Pict's.

The install went very smoothly. You will have to move the Throttle/Brake servo to the rear in the stock tank location as all other mid-tank mods are the same. This is pictured below as well. When installing this servo to either the FLM or the PRC Chassis you need to use the FLM Servo Mounts # FLM46000.

PRC will soon have a mount that will allow the mounting to the hump pack to the front or rear shock towers with the use of a HPI Rush battery box (HPI A349)

Parts used other than Chassis:
PRC125--OFNA 250cc Mid-tank kit
OFN19504--OFNA 250cc Tank
FLM46000--Servo Mount kit
80052--RPM RC10GT Receiver box

Platinumrcproducts stocks all the parts to complete this kit like the receiver box and HPI Rush bat box and so on. Just ask for pricing.

Pictures!

I guess thats it. If you need anything else just ask. This kit attaches exactly the same to the PRC chassis's.

larsen if you guys have a plate i can mount to my stock x ss tvps to adapt this 250 tank to i'd like pricing along with the hardware i need to relocate my throttle servo and a battery box pm me plz

It will work with the X and should work with the XL but you may have to drill a hole or use a large washer to hold the rear of the plate. The front of the plate is very securely mounted with the steering rack and all and being bolted to the chassis.

The shock mounts are old and I'm not sure who's they are as I purchased them used. They are very very similar to the Innovative RC ones, they just don't say that on them like the current ones do.

This PRC125 kit is $34.80
The FLM Servo mounts from me are $9.75
The OFNA Tank is $16.75
The HPI Rush bat box is $7.75
The RPM Receiver box is $10.25
and the PRC mount for the Rush box for the X is PRC180 and is $8.00

This doesn't include shipping & Handling. In the US it would be around $6 for USPS Priority.

Very nice savage Bank, I need to get me one of these plates but i hate waiting for stupid paypal to clear.

I don't know if I ever said how much I loved this kit.. Everything went together smoothly. The CF plate is really pretty and seems extremely durable. Thanks again larsen for the kit!.. A+

real nice setup larson you do good work thinking about going to carbon myself just waiting for funds to level out

Just though I would add this. We changed this plate a tad to accept the mounting with the FLM servo mounts. This gives the plate that much better appearance and is easier to assemble. here are a few shots of the updated plate assembled.

We do stock the FLM Servo mounts so they can be purchased with the PRC125 kit. The tanks are also available.

And just a shot of the tank assembled to the plate.

Hi Larsenracing, I don't know if I am writing in the right spot. But if I am not plz forgive me.

I am interested in ur Mid-Tank Mod for my Savage X, I am getting the FLM LCG Tvp's, to go with this mod. But is there anything else I will need besides the ofna t/b linkages.

Also do u ship to Canada, I hope so. Because that is one beautiful piece of CF!!!!

Thx,
Greg (White Wolf)

I do ship to Canada. You will also need 2 sets of FLM Servo Mounts which I stock along with the tank. I also have PRC180-181 which are a bracket for the Hump pack and requires HPI A349 Rush Battery box this is a great place for the battery. The RPM RC10GT Makes for a great receiver box as well. I do stock all these parts so if interested let me know. I also have a Antenna mount which can be placed in the Mid-Tank plate or in the Receiver box. Lots of options.

I got on for ya Jay can I dill my chassis for my servo with this tank? I don't wish to run the servo on the plate. I want it on the tvp. Like I have it on my FLM chassis. Do I have the extra carbon in this area?

You can drill the chassis if ya want. Just use a sharp bit with high speeds and little pressure. You also want something like wood on the back side to press against.

I am unsure if there is enough material to mount it to but should be close. The holes to mount the RPM Box already there are very similar to the needed holes of the FLM Servo Mounts.

Thx alot, u just made my day Bro.

I cant wait til my next pay check, my wife won't be happy though lol.

I'm so glad that u ship to Canada, is the shipping expensive for everything shipped for the mid-tank mod, all at once.

Thx again for the info,
Greg (White Wolf)

WoW that's really cheap shipping, I cant wait.

I have visted ur site, and I must say. I felt like a kid in a candy store lol.
I want like half ur store. Great stuff!!!!:evilrocker:

Thx Greg.

Ps. this might not be the spot to talk about this, but in ur years of experience. If u were in my shoes. Would u get the LCG TVPs or EXT LCG TVPs. Is it better to get the EXT ones????

I prefer the LCG Extended much more than the Standard Length LCG TVP's. But it's up to the user everyone has there opinion. I have sold many more of the Extendeds over the standard length.

Thats OK Combuster, Thx anyway for ur input, because U just made up my mind.
I'm definitely getting the EXT ones from SMF Store.

Thank you both for ur input,
Greg

how do you attach the steering to the servo in that position?

I mounted my servo on the other side to the predrilled holes. I found that if i mounted my servo the way in the pic the steering link hits the servo.
