PlatinumRCProducts Midtank mod PRC112 (Hellfire)

This is built with on a PlatinumRCProducts Extended chassis but will fit on the standard length chassis along with the FLM chassis's. This kit is # PRC112 and includes the CF Plate along with all hardware and cross braces that are needed. The tank is not included but it is a Hellfire 150cc Tank which is HPI# 87505.

Here is what the plate looks like which bolts the stock steering servo in the same spot. (Tank supports and Hardware is not shown in Picture but is included)

Sorry for the poor Picture but you get the point, You can also see I an running a Losi LiPo Hump pack and have strapped it to the inside of the TVP's where it sits low and has great protection the Hump is also covered in a Silicone tape. PRC is also working on a bracket to bolt the HPI Rush bat box to either the front or rear Shock tower of your choice.

I then decided I wanted to use the Hellfire Tank Accessories to clean it up a bit as you can see in the next picture these are part # HPI 85511 which is a tree of different parts.

As you can see I have now placed my throttle servo in the stock tank location using the FLM46000 Servo Mounts which holes are already placed in the PRC TVP's for, along with using the OFNA Linkage set up.

I also decided to use the RPM RC10GT Battery box #80052 which is the black one, they also have a blue one. PRC has holes already in place in the TVP's for this box to make for easy mounting. Also, you can see I decided to put a few holes in the box where I have placed the charge jack/lead in the side along with placing the On/Off Switch which was strategical placed along with the Antenna mount so that the Receiver would fit. It is cramped in the box but it does all fit. I run the Futaba 2.4 FASST 3PM so the receiver is fairly small.

PlatinumRCProducts usually stocks the tanks and extra parts like FLM Servo mounts, battery box, RPM Reciever box, Hellfire tank Accessories, ect.

Thanks bud. I hope to soon have a write up on my kit PRC125 which is for the OFNA 250cc tank. This set up is fairly easy as well but the plate is a bit different along with how the servo sits as it sits upside down but in the same location as far as the servo horn goes.

Great mod and post, have you done the OFNA mod with the other plate that Platinum sells? Will both of these work on a stock 4.6 X with the stock TVP's?? Their site says they include all hardware for instalation with the exception of the tank....what other items will I need, from a stock set up??

Everything is included in the kit's except for the tank. I have done one with the OFNA 250cc Tank but need to get it posted however it is on the FLM TVP's not our Platinumrcproduct TVP's as these kits fit both. I did this part very similar to FLM because I was running there chassis as the same time and wanted a clean mid tank set up on it and I wanted it to be universal to others.

As far as it fitting on the stock TVP's some people like AoD have done this and said it was very easy with a large washer because tords the back there is no mounting hole. I however have not done this. So to answer the question it will fit but will need some extra work. You could PM AoD he may give you a picture of how he mounted the rear of the plate.

Hey Larson, real interested in seeing your 250cc mid tank and how the carbon fiber bolts up to the flm's. I'm almost done with a 150cc mid tank on flms but also bought the 250cc from SMF & prob want to hook it up over the winter months.money man
