Thanks all- Yeah I know it sits kinda high but I have my reasons..
For one I like how it looks-I know some don't and even think its stupid high but with it there I don't have to cut rear window to clear roll bar. I also wont have to cut body around pipe area. I want to keep body strength as much as possible so I wont even cut bed area for pull start and fuel tank access so I will just fire it off run a little for tune check then put body on. Plus I think it will help for cooling so I wont have to make other cuts.
May work out may not-if not I'll hack it up but I will know soon when I bash it.

So far so good on Axial!! Break-in and tune posts in thread at RCW.

Personally dude, I drill every front end I have. It allows a good amount of airflow through. If the body is right, it'll be like having real grill 😛

It looks just amazing man. Excellent job my friend! And personally, I don't think it sits too high at all! 🙂

Yeah I may hack body up but am having a hard time making myself do it. I think I will run/bash it and see-then decide.
I lowered front end a little....

Thanks all for the compliments!

looks great but the chev aint the best style ive seen sorry I'm kinda the odd one out here, sorry love the truck love everything but the body style. lol would look better with a ford with that same paint!!!!! btw paint looks great!!!! props on the painting not on the body pick lol sorry die hard ford fan and don't try to telll me different lol

Thats cool-but you would never have a Chevy body and I would NEVER have a Ford body so there! lol
My buddy Tom did the paint but I did all decals and build.
Thanks for the um... compliments? lol JK

i like it....but i would put the body a tad bit lower to even the truck out a lil. still a sick lookin truck. i think i am gonna turn my racer into a shelf queen and put the truckzilla .46 kit on my basher

LOL Dave, I was about to rip you a new one when I saw the thread title!!! Looks good, go get some prettyful dirt on it.

Great vid Dave. Love the part with the dog, that was hilarious. Someone needs to train him to retrieve the truck when its on its lid. I think the body looks even better with the dirt than without.

Hacked

Thanks for the nice comments on vid. I wish my buddy Greg knew how to take better vid-oh well better than none - lol: Greg.
Hacked up the bed for access and it's all clean again and ready for the beach this weekend.

Window tint is chipping so may have to remove soon and just use black paint.
Still working on part 2 of vid and will have another vid to do after Sunday.

Well after sitting for way too long-months-I got some fuel-wow went up $10 since last time I got some to over $30 a gallon for O Donnels 20% RTR-and she fired up right away and ran 4 full tanks out at the desert with minimum tuning!
No vids this time but I will post some pics later.
I love on how RC's always draws a crowd and turns grown men into kids instantly!

just seein' your wheels for the 1st time today; it rocks. how did you get your cuts on the bed so perfect? looks like it came that way :resp:

Thanks frddyj-I know,thread from the dead,huh? lol
