ok so i just installed my 16tooth CB on my picco, mounted it to the FLM engine mount and went to install it in my truck. wow. talk about a tight fit. its all thew way to the right (looking from back to front) and is not getting any closer to the spur. I'm positive i have a mess that is to tight..... and the spur seams to have a wobble ( roller from sick hobbies, truck has never been run) is that normal? the trans spins fine... but man. that mess has me worried. also, I'm guessing that 16 tooth is to big? should i get a smaller spur, (i have a 47 on there now)?

That doesn't look like and engine mount issue rather than a FLM chassis issue. I had the same problem using the stock hpi mount. If you have a dremel you could always shave some of the metal off the chassis. IDK FLM makes me made sometimes.

EDIT- Wait, are you using the FLM engine mount too?

Ah, your pics get me slammed with pop up crap.

You could go to a 49 or 47 spur or notch the tvps with a dremmel slightly so the screws slide under it. 16/52 is too low for the picco anyway. 18/49, 17/47 seem to work best. 17/47 will fit easily. 16/47 will be a lot better than 16/52.

not sure about the pop ups. i just copied the photobucket link... i got a 15/52 to fit. but i have more gears ordered.
