Well I just got my new con rod and now putting the motor back together and this time I looked at the instructions because I wanted to make sure the rod was in the right way. I noticed part # 15295 the washer in the book shows it in the inside of the cover plate. When I originally took the motor apart it was on the outside of the cover plate. I wonder if that had anything to do with the rod wearing out. It would have some space in there without it. Well I decided to go by the book with it in the inside. Is this the right way for this? I guess the guy before me must have put it in the wrong way. The crank shaft does fill alot snugger now with it in. I hope this helps me when tuning the motor. Any inside would help. Thanks Terry
