We set out to build the toughest savage we could. It has been an ongoing project for a year now, and what we have so far is pretty stout. We werent concerned with weight, just strength. We used 11 chassis braces in total, and didnt skimp on anything. The truck is covered with custom made parts and very different ideas. We scored a sheet of CF and started making parts. Heres a list of what we have done so far.

Mid tank setup
Lay down steering servo
Carbon fiber mid tank mount plate
Carbon fiber battery plates (will make sense when you see the pics)
Carbon fiber switch/antenna mount
FLM LCG stock length TVP's
LST shock conversion
Aluminum carriers/uprights on front, Toe link eliminator carriers in the back
3 speed
Axial .28 with turbo head button and nova head
Ok, here are some pics.

Thanks guys, we plan to beat it mercilessly very soon. It's just way too hot down here in south alabama right now.

Nice looking Savy. I like the lay-down steering servo and linkage...looks pretty good and it's an effective way to use what limited space is left below the tank. The rest looks good, as well!!

I know the feeling. I'm in northeast Fl. and it's been hot as hell here. All week we've had an average temp of 94-97 w/ a heat index of 104-110. Plus, working outside doing cons. just makes it even worse. Also the humidity is killing us also.

It was alot more work than it looks lol. There was some modification to stock parts to make that work right, but now that the trucks done, between the servo location and the upright/carrier combo it steers alot tighter than a stocker. We are very pleased with the results.
