ordered a savage x 4.6 ss

Hi guys,

me and one of my mates have ordered a pair of Savage x ss 4.6 kits. Should be with me on friday. I had a rush evo with a 18 engine a couple of years back but traction problems made me sell it.

So have we bought the correct kits? From what i've read they seem a good kit. Any tips or anybits that i'll need to replace straight away? i.e any weak points.

good choice real good truck not many bad points depends on what your going to do with the trucks to what upgrades are recomended have fun

I wuld suggest getting a good servo for steering, this is the one most use
Hitec HS-645MG High-Torque
you will also have to get throttle/brake servo too, receiver etc... for that kit

Get bearings for the steering assembly as well. They prevent wear that causes slop in the steering and are really easy to install when building. The ofna throttle and brake linkage mod is a good cheap mod to do that is always worth while. It could easily be done later though.

need help i have k4.6 on my savage i have a pull start on it i change the casget on the pipe new full lines and new glow plug new tank it only will stay on if i put gas in the carb can some one help me her please .....

good call Tim, both of those are good,

get the steering bearings from the slap my fro store, or anywhere else the kit from HPI is high priced just buy 4 bearings (the right size), they are a lot cheaper.

audio, you should probably start a new thread about your problem, it will get the correct persons attention faster. someone that knows may not even see it in here., it sounds like your noiot getting any fuel to the carb, or to the carb. does your tank hold pressure? it has to be air tight.

thanks i think your are right it ant getting full that is why i put a new tank new gasget on the pipe from the mortor and it still dos not work the carb is not geting full i am new at this form list i have ask every body so i said i wood try the form thanks for your help...

we u buy a savage u will never take any other truck but a savage that is all i can say and warheads suck don't get one of them
