one way bearing

I'm new to this hobby but I'm learning i do have a problem with the one way bearing roto start system.owned my savage 6 months and going on my 4th one way bearing. i have soaked them in alchohol trying to clean it. now i have ordered a new starter shaft. i run every weekend good or bad weather.I'm up to 4 gallons through the savage. how long r these brarings supposed to last .is there something diferent i could be doing thanks

i don't know exactly how they last but it all depends on the fuel you use and the roto-start eats owb up pretty quick. if you use a fuel that has a high oil content it will shorten the life of the owb. i think ideal oil content for 20% nitro is 12% oil

i think the pull starts are better then roto start and it is less to carry around.
