Old Savage - get easy access diff and spurgear

I have one of the first versions of the Savage which means that it is really hard to get access to the diffs and to change spurgear.

Is it possible to upgrade to get the easy access tranny/spurgear and diffs?

Yes it is a lot easier. And direct fit!. Try JRC on eBay, good prices and fast shipping.

Aren't the shock towers and bumper stand offs different as well?

You have a point there Olds...
Towers have the same mounting holes but the bulkheads s don't have the holes on the side to mount the bumper stand offs.
