Last night I was feeling kinda brave (after dismantling and reassembling my Savage and it still run) and decided to order the parts to do the OFNA throttle linkage mod. The instructions seem pretty easy, but I would like to know from the folks with experience if there is anything I need to be careful of or look out for? Will this help me with my break issues?

It a great mod and it will help with stopping off you savage . Also make sure get servo arm long enough so clears the radio box and don't hit when you apply the brakes . one i got was two short but made it work .

The OFNA link kit didn't come with the pivot ball, but a trip to my LHS solved that. I installed the mod without problems. I didn't even have to bend the throttle rod. Now the brakes work good and there is no play in the throttle at all. I'm a noob and this was an easy mod. I encourage anyone (no matter your skill level) to give this mod a shot. I love this truck, and you guys ROCK!!!
