hehe not another how do you install it. More along of the mod seems to hit the savage X radio box cover. Installing it looked like the forum used a Savage 21/25. Any ideas before i hack up the X box so it wont hit/rub? Edit: and the X roll cage =p

Mine is installed on an X4.6 and there is no issues with clearance.
You will need to bend the new throttle linkage the same way the old one was bent, and use a longer servo arm.

I hacked up my radio box. Moto's is good cause it's closer to the TVP.

This is a great mod and easy to do.
Here's how I did it.

I had some of the screw I used sticking up which hit the guard at the top of the radio box. I just curved the corner of the radio box a bit more and it looks almost stock.

It does appear he has a skid plate but I think this is what you're asking about.

Skid plate and chassis brace. The braces are actually for a non-X. I did not like the look of the one's for the X. I used the original screws and this one fit perfectly.

I know Integy has a bad rap, but I have had no problems with their parts. And I am not easy on my truck by any means.

I just took my dremel and sanded away some of the plastic. This picture doesn't show it that well but I can upload another picture later if need be.

I used the bottom half of the stock servo saver, drilled a hole into it to fit the appropriate screw that would clear the TVPs.. and installed the linkage.

The only thing I had to do to get the proper clearance/function out of the mod was cut the lip off that is on the radio box, so the linkage could move clean and not get hung up.. also cut at the box where It would be covered up by the linkage to provide clearance for the bolt I used, it kept hitting the side of the radio box a little. Not anymore, and It functions 100%

You can notice where I modified the radio box to provide clearance.. the other cutting I did is almost non detectable unless you look closely..
