Novarossi 528XR into Savage X SS 4.6 what is recommended

I have a JP racing modded 528XRP pullstart version. not sure what you need. to be honest. I'll look into it. if the xr is bump start you need a crank I know that.

** EDIT did some looking for it to go to roto or pull start you need to replace the crank. That mill is discontinued as you may already know. Part prices are threw the roof and also hard to find. I suggest you sell it or use it in a buggy or truggy like it was made for. Hope you got it cheap! Sorry, I wish I had better news for you.

yea, i got it pretty cheap. So you're saying I can't even install the roto start with the one-way bearing? Why would I need a new crankshaft? Apologize i'm very new to the hobby.

I did some searching and to convert my Non-pull Rossi(528XR) I would need these part numbers to convert to Roto.

#15802 - Crankshaft with Pin needed for Pull start or Roto since the regular Crankshaft has no pin

pull your back plate and see if your crank has that pin. That is a XR crank and you have a XR. Did you email rossi like I said to last night?
 
i've got the 15803 crank no pin. Didn't know what I was getting into but oh well. Putting this up for sale locally and going a different direction.
 
b4 you sell it you ever think about a cheap truggy roller? that mill will be a bundle of fun in a good truggy and they are just as fun if not more fun than a savage and most and I will be shunned for this but stronger and more agile 20 + feet of air they are more competent than a savage all day
 
How dare you!!!!!! No really truggies are fun, I have a hot bodies lsp with a modded jammin 28 jpx by extreme rc mods that is just down right sweet to run!
