No 4x4

Happy 4th of July .. Well my 4 wheel drive is not working. I have front wheel drive only. I took the rear diff apart and all seemed good. Checked the trans , all gears are good. It worked the other day then I noticed the front wheels only driving the truck.It's a new engine that I got from HPI so I'm still breaking it in. Any suggestions on what else to check.? Thanks Steve
All 4 wheels turn while driving and there is no binding

Yes The grub screw was missing. I now have 4x4 again. It was a lesson in rebuilding the diff and tearing the trans apart. I should have known it was going to be something simple. Thanks for your reply's. Now it's time to hit the field. Thanks again

Check the grub screws that hold the drive shaft on.

Replaced the grub screw on drive shaft & that fixed 4 wheel drive problem, but in the manual it shows a small ball bearing and a spring. I do not know if those fell out when I lost the grub (set) screw. Part # is 86128 a, b in the clutch holder.
