Is there a way to clean off the brown spots that can get on the pipe and header from the fuel and oil?

I think I have some of them, we'll see how that works. I'll rep ya if they work well.

I use 1000 grit sand papper. Then hit it quick with Mothers Aluminum polish to bring back to mirror shine just like new. But will take all writing off the pipe...

Wont work on a painted Buku!

You saw that in the pic did ya? I ask because I'm going to be using a old one-piece header I have with my buku (the header is covered with residue) and I'd like it to look good attached to the new buku.

If your pipe is coated you may want to try polishing compound so you don't scratch it

I just cleaned my pipe-a Tasis- and used a scotch brite pad with soap and water first then Mothers-worked very well for me.
