Actually I think I need some that are probably like 50mm long, the hpi upgraded end links are much longer and beefier than stock. .... The upgrade replaces the stock ones with the 2 end links and 35mm turnbuckles. The flm arms are supposed to be 1/2 wider which is 12.7mm.

35mm + 13mm = 48mm

Just some quick math, but I will call and find out for sure.

Got some more parts in today, and made quite a bit of progress.

Some hot racing 17mm warlock hubs.

200cc of 35 wt shock oil

Fly sky gt3c

firestorm battery box.

progress from tonight, got the vented flywheel and hpi clutch mounted with 1.1mm springs, transmission rebuilt, motor mesh set, robinson racing spur and bell installed, rear shocks oiled, the rear end is in final assembly. The last thing for me to do is install the dogbones, but I didn't have o rings at the house.

Here is my new truck with plenty of spare parts, still need to clean it up..... But not till I break it tomorrow. 🙂

My new truck savage x with ofna force. 32, flm ext LCG tvps, mid tanked, chrome dog bones, hpi suspension, hell fire shock towers, bullet proof diffs and tranny, sway bars, savox sa-1231, savox sw-0231mg, flm center skid plate, I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff and I need to clean it but here it is.

me thinks the old owner liked purple and yellow 🙂 Good score joe, it will surely take a beating well..... :lmao:

It won't start. I think the OWB in the pull start is slipping, anyone know what the stock carb setting on the force .32 is off the top of their head?

Today's progress

Cleaned, shimmed, greased, and built the front end, mounted wheels, and assembled all onto 1 tvp.

Now I need to decide which servos to run, and wait for a few more parts. Any suggestions on servos? Would like to stay around 150 for both.

On the other truck i Soaked the owb over night and let the engine sir upside down. Got the other truck started today to, and the damn thing took off across the living room..... But now I'm waiting on my glow igniter to charge. Evidently it only had enough juice to start it once.

Broke the rope on my new one, so I tinkered on it a little more, got my battery box and receiver box mounted......what options are there for antennas.....This one is ugly.

I keep going back and forth between that last picture and a picture of one of my pedes and looking at the trenchers. My 2.8's look wider for some reason but I am sure your trenchers are the 3.8 aren't they?

Thanks guys, I ordered some savox servos today SC-1233SG for throttle/brake and SA-1233SG for steering

Yes they are 3.8's part number 1160-13 40

Been following this build. Looks great.
Regarding the trenchers, from memory the trencher X are wider(like big joes) then the trenchers.
The build is coming together sweet, good job!!!!!

Thank you sir, I looked them up and the trencher x are almost 3/4" wider.....since my wife loves the trenchers, I might look into getting the X's for mine and let her have the trenchers for hers. Once I finish mine, I will treat gets apart and do some maintenence and upgrades to hers.... Nothing add extravagant as this one though.

In another note, my final pieces should be here this week, so hopefully with any luck I will be breaking it in next week.

Not a big update, but my tank stands came in today, along with my new pull start for the force .32 that's just laying around now.

My final pieces came in today

A rc maxed ally servo horn, don't know...it came with the servo lol.

A racers edge glitch buster, same thing it came with the servo.

Throttle and brake servo mounted and linkages. Can you look at them and see if there is a problem with the way I have it?

I ran it through the paces by hand and don't see it binding up anywhere, it barely touches the grab bar....But I will fix that with a little more tweaking.

(@6.0V oz-in): 444.4

Wow that savox has massive torque. That will handle any tire/rim combo you could throw at it.
Your making some good progress on this build, and it's looking sweet.

Got all the electronics wired up this morning, radio bound to the receiver, set the end points and tested it all out..... The electronic part of the Build seems to work great, now I'm working on my final tank mounts, and waiting on my brake pads.

Getting close to starting it up and breaking it in, should I do that on 20% nitro? I plan on running either 25 or 30....Have not made up my mind yet.

On a side note I dropped the truck from about 6.5' in the air, and it didn't bottom out, so I think the suspension works great ad well.

from what I understand it is best to break it in on the fuel you plan on using, personally I stay with 20% nitro content, I just have little need of the heat and wear issues that running anything higher really gives as a benefit, unless you plan on racing in competition with it....
