New savage build kit ?

Anyone heard or no about the latest savages ? I’ve heard there gonna be a build kit hope it’s summat extra special ie 3speed big bore threaded shocks n 1piece pipe ha now that I would 100% get that

Ha ye I fort same the last batch wi there’s nowt there X hardware upgrade wo terrible apparently the wo just stripping out the plastics n 3 speeds wo explodeing real easy

Can you not just by the individual parts to make the 3 speed tranny up, or aim I missing something?

And the 2nd speed is finally adjustable without taking the 3rd gear off. My kits coming on Tuesday and I’ll be starting a build thread on it, i will let everyone know.

Nice 1 look forwood to how you rate it n i praying the sell sum o these new trannys from wot ive hrd that’s the only fing bin actually upgraded ha bet lots them newest Lrp 32s or gun be getting orderd plus backplate n pullstart to convert it then couple servos

I have one of the kits on the way. Should be here mid week next week. Looking for a 5.9 for it. My only other HPI car is a Baja 5b flux kit I put together a few years ago.

I have 4 nitro powered cars now, all Traxxas. 2 Revo 3.3 and 2 T-maxx. One is a 2.5 and the other a 3.3.

Looking forward to putting this kit together, will be slow because of how I work though.

Got most of it done, need to the body and glue the tires yet. To cold here for painting now. Found a new 5.9 on ebay from one of the "wrecking" yards.

I never considerd getting 3 speed tranny part by part nice 1 fo the idea it looks more achievable 👍 i wo hopeing Hpi wud selll sum o the new 1s that are in the SBK

Saying that didn’t realise they have different parts in the newly released SBK version which I take it you can adjust all the gears from outside the tranny which I thought was the original design as the gearbox came with three holes! 👍🏻

Not shure you can tune 2nd n 3rd from outside but it’s ment to b more stronger no 1s really done a tear down on it yet
