i picked those 2 from someone was offering them for sale

its a kyosho mad force with broken engine

the other it tamiya TNX without engine

sound for me for a good project

any recommendations? 😀 😀

They look old but worth putting togather to have some fun with. Get some good budget mills and get them rocking. What did you get them for?

There are still a lot of TNX fans out there. You should be able to find a good bit of info on those still. The Madforce is a wheelie machine, mild parking lot basher. still fun to mess around with.

as for the TNX i saw an HD chassis 4.7mm thick to use a bigger engine, i felt the scale of the TNX is 1/8 and with a smaller engine like the .18 or .15 will have a small power to run it,

still am not sure what am going to do, i need te put them a part and clean them and get a decent ssteering servos for both

Small block for the TNX, I would look at the OS .18 or .21 or the Picco.26 small block.

For the Mad Force, I would upgrade one of your savages and put the old engine in the Madforce.

the TNX comes with a big block isnt it?

if u see the scale it looks a bit beefy compared to the mad froce, i remember it came with a 5.2 engine

i am still in doubt wether its the small block older model or the recent which has a big block

Looks like the older ones came with a .18 engine built by OS. don't know when they switched to the 5.2. Found this old ad.

Looking at the pics it looks like yours is a 5.2. the bell around the spur, radio boxes etc.

there are a couple of regs at Bannedrc.com that run those. I don't remember if it was Yuck and Jroc or not. might want to do a little searching over thee for info. Post a pic of yours and ask. one of those guys would know for sure.
