I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been around nitro RC cars for a long time with my son and we have recently "revived" a couple Savage X's that my son had as a kid. It has been fun to rebuild and update them and we are going build another one, but fully customize it including a little fabricating to see what we can come up with. We are in a couple of other larger projects including an FI/Blown Alky Chevelle so we though why not translate some of that to a Savage if we can??? Just thought I'd join to get some ideas along the way and maybe help out here and there as we have destroyed and rebuilt about everything you can imagine that has wheels and runs on fuel!
