Man lots of exciting news there, all the new Savage's and the updated Octane V2 and Flux XL! The Baja 5B Kraken TSK-b Class 1 looks pretty sweet as well!

Sad... not much for nitro. I kind of like the q32's. Looks like the savage XL is getting a new fuel tank? Only took 15 years! LOL! Too bad they didn't show body off shots of these things.

This review has body off shots for all three new savages. The XL now matches the Octane chassis.

Looks like they kept the same stupid tank... just moved it to the front. Wow...

Would have been nice to see a 1/10th scale savage. I'd be all over that. Something scaled down a bit and lighter like the first e-savage that could run well with a small block. Well... at least there are 2 more 5B's...

I got to see some pics of the venture underbody. It looks good. Its setup like a rc4wd rig, so it'll have great COG in theory, yet its got an hpi driveline, so it should be durabile.

I knew they were planning on a brushless jumpshot, but i didn't know about the SC and ST. They look good. I was thinking about getting a jumpshot, but now i may have to reconsider.

I'm also wondering how the SC and ST will compare to the blitz/firestorm platform.

Edit: thanks for the pics, X. I'm not a huge fan of the "new" octane style tvp's on the xl, but oh well. It's nice that they did a mid-tank on it, but it would of been nice to have a different tank. I guess that's a new engine, too. I wonder how it'll do.

As for the octane, i'm glad they made a new version. Hopefully they fixed some stuff. Makes sense why tower was saying it was discontinued. I wonder if they re did the radio box too? That would be nice.

The flux xl looks to not be that much different, aside from the esc. It almost looks like a hobbywing, not sure.

When the Octane came out, did HPI not insist that you use some rediculious priced HPI 2 Stroke Oil that all but negated the cost benefit? What did most end up using?

When I got the 8ight-T with the Dynamite 31 gas the guy at the LHS told me to trash the Dynamite oil. He agreed with me about the Sthil oil. I already had it since I use it in all my 2 cycle stuff.

Anyone know when these models will be available to buy? I didnt see where it said unless I missed it somewhere.

I'm interested in learning a little more about the savage flux xl. I would like to at least be able to compare it and the x maxx.

So what's up with octane v2...I bought the 4.6 due too the fact that everyone is saying octane is over never coming back then I see post abt v2....it would have rather went with the octane just cause gas is cheaper for everyone and it's 28 cents less for me per litre with my tax exempt gas card
