New body shell

So i have just finished this shell its not perfect but I’m well pleased with it as it will get wrecked anywsys, the autobots badge was a stencil i put on before painting and then removed and sprayed black

I like the look of this shell so much (its also a bit wider than the standard shell) I'm going to get 1 for my cen genesis as well

It was tamiya iridescent paint, they do a few different colours

Yea its ps46, i have done a couple of shells this colour, i like to use 2 cans to do a shell and then you back it with black ps5, it doesnt look like its covered until you put the black on after the ps46

Okay thanks, this last time I also stuck on some heat resistant foil tape in places where it touches the exhaust pipe & other places it may rub through! ??

Yea i have gaffa tape on the back of the body where the body mounts are for a bit of extra strength there and also so it doesnt rub through, since this shell is wider there is lots of space away from the exhaust
