Can a 45 amp esc (Etronix) handle 3s? I read it can but on testing i think I saw a spark with a funny smell i will try again later but its a bit concerning. If not does anyone know of a 1/10th ESC motor combi that can handle 3s its for a Tamiya TT02. Thanks.

Its obviously too much power nevermind. Il stick to 2s. Unless the newish Lihv battery will be ok how do I know if it will be ok?

I overlooked the tt02 bit. In all honesty, the gearing is really set up for 2s. So unless you do the maths to work out the gear ratios to optimise for 3s I would stay on 2s.
