needed upgrades for the xl ?

hi guys,
I have a savage x converted to xl but was wandering what are the top 5 upgrades you recommend for bashing ??
I like fast, right now I have a axial .28 I'm thinking its the first one they made. for now will be using the ribbed (purple) pipe.
I do have the metal spur gear (51t) and (18t) pinion.

seems like the gearing is a lil high, as for upgrades the list aint all that long. look at some of the build threads and decide how nuts ya wanna go......

That gearing's a little tall for an xl, I'd drop that bell down to a 16t.
Savages don't really need upgrades....they're good in stock form.
Really the best areas to upgrade are the electronics
