Check your gear mesh first. Easiest way is with a strip of newspaper. Put the strip between the spur and clutchbell, then tighten down the mounts. You want a little "tic" when you hold the bell still and move the clutch. Check your gearing too, you may be geared too stiff for the engine. I'm still using the spur that came on the truck a couple years ago, even upgraded to an lrp .32. Just have to get that gearmesh straight and make sure your gearing isn't too aggressive
