Hi all!

I started to modify my X to make it run better.
I ordered 250cc tank, ofna throttle links, traxxas watersealed battery box and receiver box, bearings for steering, savox servos.
I also started to make my own fiberglass body.
Hope you like.

Some pictures..

Yes. It's poly urethane foam.
Never goin to do with that foam again..
Takes long time to dry and there is lot of holes inside.
Next time i'll try some other material.

I see skills... Glad to have you on the forum ! I cant wait to see how the body turns out

I am not ambitious as you, but just a idea... Next time get a 4 x 8 sheet of 2-4 inch poly cut and bond the sheet to make the starting block. Not cheap stuff but a better platform to work with. Good and dense. I used it as brick shelf and stuff forming concrete foundations for coustom homes.

Yes nice to see different. They all start looking alike for sure. Only difference is the bodys it seems any more. My new build I'm doing right now sorry to say looks like a cookie cutter truck to. Only cause I'm not having any luck with the lexan tvp covers. To thin keep snapping when I screw it down grrrr. Only difference in my xl build is its a sand duner. Nor a bashre or street machine. Nice build keep it up.

Couple layers more and it should be good enough to make mould.
Then some hard wax, gelcoat and fiberglass..🙂
