Alright I'm probably well known on here now for posting ten million threads. Asking a million questions looking for 1 good answer. 😀
Any ways about my project I bought a used savage 25 about 4 or 5 months back hardly ran but came with an axial 28s1 I rebuilt that the second day I had it then put a lcg chassis on. Started breaking it in and broke the old transmitter so I haven't finished breaking it in yet. So while I've been looking around for a good radio (2.4ghz of course) I have been pouring money into this to make it run like a champ. I've put hpi bb shocks all around with bad horsey shock covers added the updated radio box and shock towers.found an hs985mg servo I'm using for the steering servo.(not the best but I think it'll get me buy.) Then I bought the dual disk brakes cause I didn't think it had em but as I tore her down I found it all ready had em but I put a brand new set on so I can start out fresh. It also has the updated cam type servo saver. So while I've been building her back up I ordered my airtronics mx sport from amain hobbies for 95 dollars! Woot good saving!.

Some things I'm planning on doing is definitely the out drive cups and dog bones I'm thinking cvd's up front and then super heavy duty dog bones and out drive cup every where else.

As far as the transmission I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna get a three speed.
(Any input on these would be great)

And I want to upgrade the steering servo so what should I go with for my savage? I gonna wanna get the toughest one

Then wheels I'm staying away from forty series too heavy. I'm just gonna get some proline bow ties to race with and the. A street tread is well for the skate parking bashings.

Sounds like a nice little project you have yourself there. A few things about what you mentioned would be.
is your trucka basher or a speed demon? the three speed is nice, i use it on two of my trucks but if your not looking for all out speed, a two speed is much easier to adjust and you already have it. 🙂
Servos- everyone seems to be running a ace 1015 for servos these days, including myself, however another great choice is the hitec 7955tg. a lot of racers use this one as well as bashers. good call on light tires, its a mistake many make putting heavy, pretty wheels on. cant beat functionality of the light weights.

Well right now my truck is a basher and every once in awhile a trip ot the local off road tracks but there alittle tighter so I'm looking for accelaration over crazy top end speed. How much toruqe dose the ace 1015 have

the Ace 1015 is 200 oz X .10 speed ... best of both worlds.

The 3 speed when tuned right will get you up to top speed faster.
