Last week when I was at the dump I was letting my two year old son Kayden drive my savage. I help him with the t/b but the stearing is all him. I mostly keep him from going wot. I think he does perty good for not even being 2 yet. I just bought him a Mini T so he should get alot better.

He does a great job. I let my 5 year old daughter drive my truck every once in a while and she just likes to turn the wheel back and forth but is getting much better. The hardest thing is to pick it up when the truck is coming back at ya.

I was thinking of getting my daughter a Traxxas Slash for here. Should work great due to the larger scale and they have a beginner switch that allows the motor to run at 33% or something like that.

thats sweet pope. when do you start the build for the lil whipper snapper. Looks like a good father son bonding activity right there.

Yea he does really well I think took some time to get him to steer and not just turn it back and forth. I sat down with him and held his hand as he turned the wheel and showed explained to him what to do to make the car go left right and straight.

Now he has an old remote of mine he plays with all day pretending to drive his hot wheels around making motor sounds.

Thats great pope. Should have gotten a shot of the smile on his face while he was driving though. Thats what makes it all worth it.

You guys are right. I love to make him smile and he does a lot of smiling when we go to the RC races or just burning a tank when I get home from work. I love that this is something we can share for the rest of our lives.
