my truck dies when i remove the glow plug ignighter

ok i have a os 30 with a mcoy mc9 glow plug witch is new when i first start my truck the motor dies when i remove the glow plug ignighter.but if i leave the ignighter on it and do 2 laps around the take the ignighter off its fine all day.

you check your glow plug? Make sure its still good.

Try an MC8, that MC9 is probably too cold for the running your doing.

sound like you may be running a little rich and motor is flooding until it warms up. try tuning hsn a little. hope that works.

Most engines will run rich until they get to running temp, that's why you should never try to tune a cold engine, when it does get to temp it will be super lean.

its a new plug and when its warm its runnig at 180

180 is still cold switch to a MC8 plug and lean it a bit.
