I've swapped the rx8 esc out for a viper vtx8 esc to have it waterproof and savage spends most of it time at the skatepark. I've never had heat issue when I ran it with the tekin esc; it has never neen above three bars on temp gauge on esc and barely warm to the touch. The viper esc is new but I don't see heat being an issue either but I will keep an eye out for heatNice looking collection Anh. Hopefully when you drive that thing you put the electronics cover back on though. Also make sure to keep your esc and motor clean! the dirtier they get the less capable they are of dumping the big heat that they create.

i've had issues with my diff gears blowing up on me lol i've upgraded to harden gear diff and vorza cup they last longer but still once and a while it goes on me. and the diff is shimmed properly. Last is my big bore shocks i've busted two shock bodies cheap replacement at 5 bucks for two lol other then that it's been rock solid.Other then the TVP bending have you had any other issues with the Savage Flux?
